BERLIN FIRE SAFETY MAIN OFFICE

The main office provides support for the regional offices, the Fire Academy, and the State Hazmat Team. The main office is also involved with data management for the National Fire Incident Reporting System, certification of technically qualified people for specialty trades, technical assistance, appeals, administrative orders and penalties, fire safety education, technical training, public outreach and support for the Access Board. E-mail Fire Safety for additional information on any of these programs.

The Division of Fire Safety is committed to making Vermont a safe place to live, work and visit. Our goal is to protect the public and the fire service with coordinated efforts in Code Enforcement, Fire Service Training, Public Education, Hazardous Materials and Incident Investigation. In addition, we strive to work with local community groups and building owners in ensuring the safety of all who enter and use public facilities.
