OIL BURNER INSTALLERS
The purpose
of this program is to protect the people of the State of Vermont from
the risk of injury or death from unsafe oil burner installations. Vermont
has adopted and enforces the nationally recognized safety codes and
licenses, educates and trains people doing oil burner installation work.
A Certification of Fitness (TQP) is required for all individuals performing
activities related to fire or life safety, based on the qualifications
below.

OIL BURNING EQUIPMENT INSTALLER
Scope – The installation, repair
and maintenance of oil burning equipment.
Qualifications – Successful completion of the
examination for Silver Certificate from the National Oil Heat Research
Alliance.
Continuing Education – Eight (8) hours of related
instruction during the previous three (3) years.
