FIRE SPRINKER SYSTEMS
Scope – The design, installation and testing of fire sprinkler systems, standpipes and fire pumps. Qualification – Level III or higher certification for automatic sprinkler system layout from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) or a licensed fire protection engineer. Continuing Education – Eight (8) hours of related instruction during the previous 3 years. FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLER Scope – The installation, maintenance and testing of fire sprinkler systems, standpipes and fire pumps. Qualification – Passing the examination for, or completing, an approved sprinkler apprenticeship program or successful completion of the fire sprinkler examination http://www.clse.org/testing-vt.htm. Continuing Education – Fifteen (15) hours of related instruction during the previous 3 years.
