MEDIA RESOURCES & PRESS RELEASES
Timing is critical to your success as you report on a fire in your community. The Division of Fire Safety and the U.S. Fire Administration encourage you to remind your audience that many fire deaths and injuries are preventable. The following information could make a big difference to your audience. By incorporating them in your story now, you could help save a life. Please share them with your readers because knowledge is the best fire protection. The Division of Fire Safety has assistant fire marshals and technical staff in four regional offices. The staff in the regional offices have a variety of fire prevention experience and can respond to local project questions. Media assistance and outreach services for the Division is coordinated through the main office in Berlin. Please feel free to contact a regional office or the fire safety education coordinator for assistance or to be added to the press release mailing list. Micheal D.
