Welcome to the Division of Fire Safety Regional Offices. Regional office staff includes Assistant State Fire Marshals (fire prevention officers), Electrical Inspectors, Plumbing Inspectors, Plans Review Specialists, Administrative Assistants and is overseen by a Regional Manager. Each regional office is responsible for permitting, inspecting and general code compliance issues in their respective coverage areas.

The Division of Fire Safety is committed to making Vermont a safe place to live, work and visit. Our goal is to protect the public and the fire service with coordinated efforts in Code Enforcement, Fire Service Training, Public Education, Hazardous Materials and Incident Investigation. In addition, we strive to work with local community groups and building owners in ensuring the safety of all who enter and use public facilities.
