Training
Opportunities
The
Training and Outreach Coordinators of the Department of Public Safety
Homeland Security Unit will assist in the coordination of all federal
and state sponsored domestic preparedness training.

Terrorism
grants have been provided by the Department of Justice, through
the Office of Domestic Preparedness. These grants will enable the
Homeland Security Unit to make available the following courses.
Scheduling will be done through the Training and Outreach Coordinators.

there are courses available online for those responders who are
unable to attend on-site training. The courses are made available
by the National Response
and Rescue Training Center, Texas Engineering Extension Service,
Texas A & M University. The courses include:
