A Flash Flood Warning continues for areas of Vermont and will continue throughout today and tonight.

So far, flooding has been reported in the towns of Hancock, Granville, and Rochester.  Residents on Tucker Hill Road have been evacuated because of high water.  Routes 100 and 125 in that area also have water over the road.  Motorists are reminded to never drive across flooded roads as unseen currents can sweep away an automobile.

Swift water rescue teams are being staged throughout the state in case water rescues are needed.  These teams have not been dispatched to specific locations as of yet.

Towns that have suffered damage, or suffer damage in the continuing rainfall can report all damage to Vermont Emergency Management at 800-347-0488.

Further updates will be distributed throughout the day.

Those affected by the storm can call 211 for resource information.
