Flash Flood Road Issues - 1810 Update

Heavy rains in Central Vermont have caused some road issues, including:

-Route 110 just north of Chelsea Village has water on the road due to gravel runoff from a local road.  The road is still open and a state crew is on route to fix the problem.

-Route 14 in Williamstown has water over the road – Closed.

-Water is also on Route 302 in Berlin by Tractor Supply - Closed

-Chelsea Road and Fuller Road in Corinth are washed out - Closed

-The following roads in the City of Montpelier are closed: Northfield Street, Galison Hill Road, town Hill Road, Route 12 by the town line near Middlesex.

-In Bridport:
            The East End of Crown Point Road from Short Street is closed; access only from the West End.
            The East End of Swinton Road is washed out and closed; access only from Basin Harbor Road on the West End.

Vermont Emergency Management is activated at Level III Status with staff members and representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.  Staff from other State Agencies are also assisting.

Towns in need of assistance should call Vermont Emergency Management at 800-347-0488.  Residents in need of resource assistance should call 211.
