TRAFFIC SAFETY

The Traffic Safety Unit of the Vermont State Police is located in Williston at the Vermont State Police barracks.

Traffic Safety Unit is comprised of the Traffic Operations (North/South) and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Teams. The Unit also serves as the liaison with other traffic safety program managers such as the Governor's Highway Safety Program, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Agency of Transportation. It is also responsible for collecting and analyzing crash data, reviewing federal grant opportunities and providing Troopers with equipment and training for crash investigation and highway safety initiatives.
