Circumstances surrounding death:
Victim was working on a farm in the town of Sheldon. The victim was shot while driving a farm tractor, feeding cattle outside a barn located on the east side of the farm. This homicide occurred sometime between 11:00 am and 12:50 pm on July 7th, 2005. The victim died as a result of a single gunshot wound from a .22 caliber rifle.
The Vermont State Police continue to investigate this homicide. Anyone with information regarding this crime or persons involved is asked to contact the State Police.
