On May 23rd, 2006 our brother, Senior Trooper Jason Kaine, lost his courageous battle with leukemia.

Jason was a decorated United States Army veteran of Operation Desert Fox. Jason was a six year veteran of the Vermont State Police, initially being assigned to the St. Albans Barracks and then to the Brattleboro Barracks.

Jason’s battle with cancer raised public awareness of the National Bone Marrow Registry and resulted in over a dozen bone marrow drives both locally and as far away as Wisconsin.

We will never forget Jason, and his family remains a part of our VSP family.
