SUMMARY OF INCIDENT

As a result of a criminal investigation by the Lamoille County Special Investigation Unit, William Javery was arrested and arraigned at the Lamoille County District Court for the crimes of Sexual Assault and Lewd and Lascivious Conduct with a Child. Javery confessed to police that he was involved in a romantic relationship with a 13 year old girl. During that time Javery admitted to having sex with the girl approximately 10 times.

During the relationship Javery lied to the girl telling her he was 17 years of age. The girl later learned that Javery was in fact 25 years of age. Bail was set at $25,000.00 and a peace bond of $5,000.00 was also set.

Conditions of release also state that Javery is not to have contact with any person under the age of 18. Javery is currently lodged at St Johnsbury Correctional Center.
