SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 12th 2009 the Vermont State Police investigated a report of a burglary at the Cabot High School that occurred sometime the day before. It was determined that unauthorized access was gained to the building through an unlocked door and an unsuccessful attempt was made to enter the library and kitchen areas. The office area was entered and a drawer containing a metal lockbox was forcibly opened and its contents, to include cash, were removed.
The State Police remind the public to lock their doors and windows and to secure their valuables.
