VICTIM: Bruce A. Delorme  
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: 101 West Milton Road Milton, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 10-19-2009 the Lowell Fire Department responded to 1962 Carter Road for a camp fire. Upon arrival the fire department found the camp to be completely destroyed by the fire. Chief Alden Warner requested an origin and cause investigation be conducted. The Vermont State Police Fire Unit and the Division of Fire Safety conducted an investigation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation however the circumstances surrounding the fire are considered suspicious. There were no injuries in the fire. The loss is estimated at approximately $50,000.00.
