STATE OF VERMONT 11/5/09 - UPDATED INFORMATION ON ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION The Vermont State Police have spoken with the individual who honked their horn to intervene in the attempted abduction that occurred at the Shopping Center Parking Lot in Bradford on October 25th. The witness came forward to provide information regarding the incident which he witnessed. Original Press Release: STATE OF VERMONT PRESS RELEASE INCIDENT: Assault/Unlawful Restraint CASE #: 09B302246 VICTIM: Juvenile AGE: 16 On 10/28/09 Vermont State Police in Bradford received a report of an incident that occurred on 10/25/09 between 5:30 PM and 5:45PM. At that time a 16 yr old female entered a local retail establishment and was followed around the store by an unidentified male. Upon exiting the store and while placing her purchases in her vehicle, the female was grabbed by her upper arm and tugged in the direction of the unidentified males vehicle. Another vehicle, parked behind the victim, intervened by honking their horn and driving toward the male. The male released his grip and left the area in a dark colored, possibly green, Jeep Cherokee with an unknown registration. |
