After a joint investigation with the Department of Children and Families, Jay Mello age 41 of Sutton Vermont has been cited to appear in court to answer to the charges of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct with a Child. The investigation opened after a disclosure was made by a female juvenile victim.  Mello is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County District Court on December 21st, 2009 to answer to the charge.
