The Department of Public Safety recognizes the importance of bringing credit on those who have gone above and beyond the call in order to advance the mission of the Vermont State Police and to ensure the safety of all Vermonters. 

Each year the Vermont State Police hold a ceremony at the State House in Montpelier to honor those who have made a significant contribution to the State of Vermont.
