MISSION STATEMENT

Traffic safety remains a core mission of the Vermont State Police. Through aggressive high visibility enforcement, education and awareness the Traffic Safety Unit will strive to change driving behavior, reduce motor vehicle crashes and identify criminal activity.

Enforcement in impaired driving, speeding and other hazardous driving violations will be a priority in both passenger and commercial motor vehicles.

Troopers will be vigilant and work collaboratively with our highway safety partners to make Vermont a safer place for our citizens and visitors.
